I’m Patrick.
I am a Freelance Photographer based in Detroit, Michigan. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember but for a long time I wasn’t sure what role it would play in my life. As a hobby it could feel empty at times, until I realized the incredible joy I receive by using my skills and talents for others. I use my talents for the glory of God foremost, Who is at the center of the values I bring to my work and personal life. Making the decision to pursue what I love has changed my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
I love my work and moreover, I love making other people happy through my work; which is always my goal and motivation. It is an indescribably wonderful feeling to provide others with photos that are both beautiful and hold memories that will be cherished the rest of their lives. It couldn't be more fulfilling.
I love coffee and look forward every morning to my rituals and routines! I love hiking, camping and being outside in general. I’m a lover of winter, though the warm seasons, of course, have their place in my heart, and more importantly, are the best time for work & beautiful photos! I’m a roman Catholic and love traditional latin mass! It sets my heart on fire.
I’m a book lover and often will be reading in my leisurely time. I’m an especial fan & admirer of Lord of the Rings and J.R.R. Tolkien. I could probably answer any question you could put to me on tolkien-lore (Don’t hold me to that haha. But do try me). I also love to write poetry and am contemplating (am doubtful) publishing a book of my poems. I have a cat named Gandalf who is my little grey bestfriend and my constant companion during photo editing hours!

It depends of course on the type of photoshoot and the amount requested per client, which is flexible. However, some typical average ideas are:
Couples Photos: 25-50
Senior Photos: 30-60
Wedding: (Largely Varies) 300-600
Engagement: 25-45
Event: 100+
Family: 25-45

I am a Canon user now for my main work but I have been in love with Fujifilm cameras for years and I also largely use a Fuji X-T5. I love my fuji’s.

I am from Detroit and I live and work from here but have traveled for work plenty! I am not limited to the Detroit area and am willing to take jobs anywhere in Michigan, depending on timing and if travel was compensated. I also am willing to travel anywhere else if I have the time, if compensated. I’m mainly based in the Metro-Detroit region, often shooting in Rochester Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Royal Oak, Grosse Pointe, Detroit, Monroe, St. Clair shores, Clinton Township, Shelby, Sterling Heights. You name it.

I typically will provide the finished set within a week after the session. If I am super booked it probably would be more like 2 weeks. However, if the photos are wanted very quickly (or a preview), we could negotiate.
